This service is currently limited to equines currently living in Virginia.
Pictures and videos are always critical to finding homes for direct placements. Please send any media you have of the equine needing placement to kbobbio@partnershipforhorses.com
Available Horses Needing Placement
All listed equines still reside with their owners in locations across the Commonwealth. We make every effort to visit each one and provide a fair, unbiased assessment.
Due to the nature of this program, most rideable horses have not been ridden in years and will need professional assistance to restart their careers.
A vast majority of these horses are companion only. They have reached the end of their careers and due to owner hardship they can no longer stay in their homes and need a safe landing.

*Horses listed as "Hospice Care" are under consideration for euthanasia at their current homes. These horses have advanced medical conditions that will require an experienced horseperson. They may also be eligible for financial assistance in their next homes. Please reach out to us if you are interested in giving one of these special horses one last chapter.
